From the cool, elevated terraces of the Te Muna Valley, The Elder Pinot Noir is a refined expression of Martinborough. Farmed organically and made with minimal intervention, this wine reflects founder Nigel Elder’s commitment to patience, precision, and place.

Naturally fermented and aged carefully before release, the 2019 shows aromas of dark red berries, florals and gentle spice. The palate is supple and composed, with velvet-fine tannins, dark cherry flavours and subtle savoury notes. Elegant, balanced and quietly complex, this is a Pinot Noir that drinks beautifully now and will reward further cellaring.
