Sourced from the Howell Vineyard in Hawke's Bay's Bridge Pa region, Franco is all about freshness, texture and easy drinking. Think juicy wild strawberries, earthy undertones and a touch of savoury botanicals and tobacco. Soft, supple and wonderfully refreshing, with gentle tannins and plenty of flavour despite its modest 12% alcohol.
Made with minimal intervention and matured for eight months in stainless steel and neutral oak, this is Cabernet Franc without the heaviness or formality.
Best served with a decent chill, alongside charcuterie, antipasti or simply good company. A seriously delicious, not-so-serious red.
