Judge Rock 2017 St Laurent Central Otago
Another classic St Laurent by the Judge Rock team! The palate opens with sweet red and black cherry, supported by plum spice and subtle tobacco notes. This is a structural red that opens up with aeration. Bright acid drives through that impressive concentration. Aromas of florals, spice, red cherry, and firm finish of charry oak!
If you’re after more than a couple bottles and would like to order a case of 6, 12 or more, please send an email to info@boutiqueconnection.co.nz or click here.

About Judge Rock Wines
“Elegant, sensuous, intimate. A romance not a blockbuster, feminine not masculine. Balance not power, family not corporate, and love not lust.”
This very boutique, four hectare organic vineyard is situated on Hillview Road on the outskirts of Alexandra in Central Otago, and is owned by Paul and Angela Jacobson. The name Judge Rock comes from the prominent schist landmark near Millers Flat where Paul grew up. In true style, their wines have legal names to match the Judge (Rock).
Paul’s wine journey started in Marlborough, when he filled a bathtub of left-over grapes in 1996, making his first ever barrel of Pinot Noir. Talk about Kiwi ingenuity! Although Paul still works as a consultant Civil Engineer, his true passion is winemaking.
