Huntress - Matiti Pétillant Naturel 2024

NZ$55.00

Matiti  denotes summer in te reo Māori, of which there are seven distinct phases.  The label depicts some of the tohu (signs) of change during this winemaking season.

This wine is a collective project created by six wāhine Māori. The grapes are grown by Alistair and Karla at Grava Vineyard in Martinborough (BioGro certified organic) and nurtured under the korowai of Papawhakaritorito Trust, with the Hua Parakore pillars of indigenous farming at the heart of the kaupapa.

Made using an ancient method, it captures fermentation in motion... bottled before it fully finishes, resulting in a lightly sparkling wine that feels alive, textural, and gently untamed.

If you’re after more than a couple bottles and would like to order a case of 6, 12 or more, please send an email to info@boutiqueconnection.co.nz or click here.
