A frisson is that fleeting moment of surprise or delight and this wine lives up to its name.

Bright and expressive, the 2023 opens with dark red berries, lifted florals and gentle spice. The palate is supple and vibrant, with velvet-soft tannins, ripe cherry fruit and subtle savoury notes.

Beautifully balanced and food-friendly, and is even better if it’s lightly chilled as a fresh, elegant summer red, or cellared to reward patience over time.
