3sixty2 is a boutique producer making extremely small parcels of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from Marlborough. Alice, the incredible Founder, is passionate, driven and environmentally responsible, making her a seriously influential young producer with endless potential in New Zealand’s wine industry. Her philosophy says it all, ‘honour your nature, strive for more’.

Alice started 3sixty2 when she was 25, motivated by her dream to accelerate the circular economy in New Zealand wine. Her two guiding principles are sustainability and guardianship of the land. In 2019 Alice won an AGMARDT scholarship to work on research for the Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme. She studied the circular economy of glass in NZ’s wine industry, discovering and researching responsibility schemes from all over the world. This knowledge has positioned Alice at the forefront on sustainability in the industry and of course, she has implemented her own sustainability programmes for 3sixty2.

Alice crafts wine with real integrity, in very small batches. She is making serious headway in her sustainability pursuit, becoming the first producer to use Carbon Click, an initiative that allows her customers to offset their emissions when purchasing 3sixty2 wine online. She also has a 5-point plan to respond to climate change, one point being her goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2025. She achieved this goal four years early and has consequently become New Zealand’s first wine producer to have a complete carbon positive wine portfolio.  When drinking 3sixty2 wines, you know you’re supporting a sustainable product that is ‘honouring our nature’, and what’s not to love about that?
